LFA Rush and the Rush Soccer Network

Longs Peak Futbol Academy Rush (LFA Rush) is a nonprofit competitive youth soccer club in Berthoud and an official affiliate of Rush Soccer, one of the largest youth soccer networks in the world. As LFA Rush, our players get access to the programs, coaching resources, and development pathways of a global organization, while staying part of a community-run club close to home.

Through Rush Soccer, LFA players and coaches have access to:

Rush Select regional and national teams
Rush tournaments and showcase events
College Advisory Program support for recruiting and exposure
Coaching development and a shared player development curriculum
Rush Travel opportunities to train and compete abroad

Rush Soccer began in Colorado and now includes more than 125 clubs in 48 countries, with more than 90 professional alumni.

Based in Berthoud, Serving Nearby Towns

LFA Rush trains at Bein Park in Berthoud, near Spartan Avenue and 10th Street. Players join us from Berthoud, Loveland, Longmont, Mead, Johnstown, Lyons, and surrounding communities.

Our Season: Fall Through Spring

Tryouts are held at the end of each spring season to form teams for the next fall–spring year. For example, tryouts in spring 2027 will form teams for the 2027–28 season. See our Tryouts page for current dates.

Colorado Soccer Association Member Club

LFA Rush is a proud member of the Colorado Soccer Association (CSA) and participates in state league play as well as CSA-sanctioned tournaments. Along with the Colorado Soccer Association and Rush Soccer, LFA Rush is also a member of US Soccer, US Youth Soccer and US Club Soccer and sponsored by Capelli Sport.

Competitive Soccer for Boys and Girls, Ages 8–18 (U9–U19)

LFA Rush is a competitive program for players and families looking for a higher level of play. Competitive soccer asks more of players than rec does: commitment, responsibility, and a focus on individual improvement. In return, players get strong coaching, challenging games, and a real development pathway.

Many players are ready for more than rec soccer around age 8 or 9 (U9), which is where our program begins. We also offer teams for high school–age players up to U19.

As a nonprofit, LFA Rush offers need-based scholarships so that cost isn't a barrier to playing.
