LFA Rush Soccer Staff
Meet Our Coaching Staff and Club Leadership
Club Leadership
LFA Rush is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) youth soccer club governed by a volunteer board of directors made up of parents and community members who care about growing the game of soccer for youth in Northern Colorado. The board oversees the club's finances, policies, and long-term vision, while our staff and coaches run day-to-day operations and player development. As a nonprofit, every dollar goes back into the club, from coaching and field space to need-based scholarships that help more kids play.
Meet the LFA Rush Coaches and Staff
LFA Rush coaches bring decades of combined experience in youth, high school, college, and semi-professional soccer, along with deep roots in our community. Led by Director of Coaching Rick Lizondo, who has coached youth soccer in Northern Colorado since 1998, our staff teaches a technical, possession-based style of play inspired by Cruyff and Barcelona. Several of our coaches grew up playing in Berthoud and Loveland, including former LFA players and Berthoud High School alumni who now coach the next generation.
